Marta Majtenyi Addresses OT Risk and Collaboration at CS4CA Europe London Event

As the integration of digitalization and automation becomes imperative for critical infrastructure firms, the challenge of cybersecurity remains a pressing concern for IT and OT teams. Ahead of the CS4CA Europe London Conference taking place from September 30 to October 1, 2025, speaker Marta Majtenyi, the Director of the Information Security Office at Norsk Hydro, sheds light on significant themes that are likely to emerge.
“Operational Technology continues to pose significant challenges. Effectively understanding and communicating the appropriate levels of risk management required is complex, particularly when it involves translating these risks into tangible financial implications for stakeholders,” stated Majtenyi. “Our role, as I often emphasize, is to effectively communicate the value of security and risk management to our organization.”
In a recent discussion with Information Security Media Group, Majtenyi elaborated on her approach to cybersecurity. She outlined key strategies that prioritize the identification and mitigation of cyber risks associated with OT, and emphasized the importance of establishing a clear cybersecurity roadmap to achieve quick wins. As technology evolves, she articulated how prospective innovations present both new opportunities and associated risks.
For professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of these critical issues, attending CS4CA Europe will offer valuable insights. This conference provides a platform for senior experts across Europe’s core sectors—including oil and gas, utilities, mining, chemicals, transportation, and healthcare—to share practical strategies that can enhance an organization’s cybersecurity approach, alongside ample networking opportunities with peers.
