Kroll Settlement Administration, responsible for managing the settlement process, began accepting claims in August for eligible clients to recover from one or both funds.

Potential Claim Amounts

Eligible claimants may recover as much as $5,000 from the AT&T 1 Settlement Class and $2,500 from the AT&T 2 Settlement Class. Those impacted by both breaches may be entitled to total claims of up to $7,500. The final payout will depend on the number of applicants and documented out-of-pocket expenses. Claimants must provide relevant documentation to support their claims in order to be eligible for potential maximum payouts, while still benefiting from unclaimed residual funds if unable to furnish such evidence.

Eligibility Criteria

The settlement extends to all current and former AT&T customers whose data was accessed during the breaches. Eligible individuals will receive notification from Kroll Settlement Administration via email or standard mail. Notices began to be sent out on August 4, 2025, and will continue through the fall. Individuals not receiving communication but believing they are eligible for the settlement may contact the settlement administrator at 833-890-4930.

Claim Submission Process

Claims can be submitted online or through mail. For online submissions, individuals can visit TelecomDataSettlement.com, where they will need to provide their Class Member ID, AT&T account number or name, and email address. For those opting to submit claims via mail, printable PDF forms for both breaches and a combined form for dual impacts are available through the same website. Completed forms must then be sent to the Kroll Settlement Administration’s designated mailing address.

It is essential to ensure that any mailed claims are postmarked by the deadline of November 18, 2025.

Important Deadlines

The deadline for submitting settlement claims is November 18, 2025. Should claimants wish to opt-out and pursue separate legal action against AT&T, they must do so by October 17, 2025. The proposed settlement will be subject to a final approval hearing set for December 3, 2025.

Anticipated Payout Timeline

Following a successful court approval of the settlement in December, payouts are anticipated to commence in early 2026.
