New Role in a Cybersecurity Venture Under Comcast
DataBee®, a newly established cybersecurity unit within Comcast, has appointed Robin Das as its Executive Director of Market Growth Strategy. This division focuses on innovative advancements in cybersecurity, specifically aiming to deliver a security, risk, and compliance data fabric platform alongside a network detection and response (NDR) platform. These solutions cater primarily to large enterprises and critical infrastructure organizations that are increasingly vulnerable to cyber threats.
In his new role, Das is tasked with articulating DataBee’s distinctive value proposition within a competitive marketplace. He will spearhead long-term strategic planning as well as product vision development, while also identifying key business development opportunities. This includes forging partnerships and alliances that will accelerate growth and enhance the organizational footprint in the cybersecurity sector.
Prior to this position, Das gained extensive experience at Comcast, contributing to Corporate Strategy, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and the development of tools aimed at improving Customer Experience. This varied background equips him with a comprehensive view of both the corporate and cybersecurity landscapes.
Residing in Philadelphia, Das shares his home with his wife, Stephanie, their nine-year-old daughter, Pearl, and their two dogs, Emma and Eggy. Outside of his professional commitments, Das enjoys slow runs, cooking, and dining out, activities that offer a balance to the demands of his career.
