As of now, no leaks of sensitive information have been reported; however, a thorough audit of all departmental systems is being conducted as a precaution. This incident follows a similar attack on Monday when hackers infiltrated the Department of Local Self Government and the Jaipur Development Authority websites, displaying pro-Pakistan propaganda. Those sites have since been restored.
The hackers, claiming affiliation with the “Pakistan Cyber Force,” posted inflammatory messages about India, referencing a recent terrorist incident in Pahalgam. Their communication included threats indicating that future attacks could be digital rather than conventional. Such remarks imply a calculated strategy designed to instill fear and draw attention to geopolitical tensions.
Minister Dilawar assured that the Education Department’s website would be promptly restored and emphasized the necessity for stronger cybersecurity measures to prevent further incidents.
