Authorities recently disclosed that the Bankstown Region Enforcement Squad conducted an investigation that uncovered approximately 14,000 identity documents, allegedly connected to fraudulent activities likely obtained through a series of data breaches. In a collaborative effort involving the State Crime Command’s Cybercrime Squad, officials identified 959 individuals who may have been affected by these breaches.
